Luba Freeport is a new deep water port and oilfield service logistics base on the west coast of the island of Bioko. Luba is a JV between GEPetrol and Luba Freeport Ltd.

Luba Freeport’s unique tax and Customs duty exoneration makes it an ideal location for a regional West African hub facility. Materials imported into the Freeport can be stored and later exported to countries throughout the Gulf of Guinea without the payment of Transit Taxes and Customs duties.
This facility is already being used by SBM, MI, Nalco, Schlumberger, Baker Hughes and Amerada Hess to service their branches in neighbouring countries.
